MIXED BAG FOR FARM IN AMATEUR LEAGUE CUP

INGLE Farm's first team dream cup run is over. The team today was knocked out in the quarter final by Bosa after extra time, then a penalty shootout.

Bosa scored first in the match after a horrible misunderstanding in Farm's defense.

Neon Leon Hannessen replied for Farm in the second half as the impressive midfielder led a magnificent fightback for Farm.

Farm were unlucky in the second half when Hannessen's header was touched into the net by Mario Staltari, only for Staltari to be ruled offside in the100th minute.

However Bosa rallied during the shootout to escape with a 5 - 4 win after the penalties.

INGLE Farm's Reserves continued their good form with an away win at West Beach. The team's penalty shootout win progresses the Reserves into the Semi Finals of the Amateur League Reserve Cup.

Scoring for Farm was Andy Lynn, Peter Bria and Daniel Giorgetti however at the end of extra time the two teams were locked at 3 - 3.

Farm keeper, Michael Francken proved to be the matchwinner for the visitors with three magnificent saves (not letting in one) to win the shootout 3 - 0.

The Reserves now advance to the Semi Finals of the cup and are surely an excellent chance of taking out the title.
