STALTARI CLEANS UP 2006 AWARDS

ANTHONY "Squiddy" Staltari upset everyone by winning all three of the prized awards at this years Presentation Night held at Florina House at the weekend.

Staltari took out the 1st Team Supporters' Choice Award, Club Players' Player Award and tied with Ricky Simpson for the 2006 1st Team Coach's Award.

Duy "Huey" Tran dominated the voting for both Reserves awards as he was presented with the Reserves Supporters' Choice and Reserves Coach's Awards.

The formal evening, which housed close to 150 patrons, was topped off when club coaches Paul Simpson, Alan Leadbeater and Brian Toomer were each presented with a Ingle Farm playing strip, mounted in an impressive frame, which had been organized, donated and signed by all the players of the club - who appreciated the coaching trio's commitment during the season.

The players, who also had a frame made up for the IFASC Clubrooms and Ingle Farm sponsors Wayne and Lorraine Cockayne, were officially presented with their Championship and Cup winning medallions respectively.

Then party Band "Where's The Midfield" grooved the club into the night as players, coaches, staff and supporters celebrated its most successful year yet.
