In the Reserves match at Walkley Park, Ingle Farm overcame Southern Knights, 3 - 1.
Kevin Dawson scored twice for the team, to provide a target up front for the Reserves.
Dawson opened the scoring for Farm in the 30th minute when his deflected shot found the back of the net. 1 - 0.
The match remained 1 - 0 during the first half before Ingle Farm gave a penalty away for handball in the 40th minute. Farm goalkeeper, Michael Francken, pulled off a magnificent save defying Southern Knights an equalizer.

After the break, Kevin Dawson scored his second goal for the match when in the 55th minute he drilled home a shot. 2 - 0 to Farm.
In the 65th minute, Alex Bautista took a shot at goal from just outside the 18 yard box hitting the target and wrapping up the 3 points for Farm. This was Bautista's second goal for the Reserves in two matches.
Unfortunately for the home team, after the third goal they conceded one just a minute later, as sloppy defending allowed Southern Knights a soft consolation goal.
Farm then held out for their first win of the season. The win sees the Reserves jump into 2nd position in Division 2B.
Reserves coach, Brian Toomer, said "It was a scrappy game highlighted by three brilliant goals. We can still improve."
