Ingle Farm's Reserves were dealt a hefty blow as they were defeated 3-1 in the early match at Para Hills Oval.
Farm opened well, getting on top and should of taken the lead when Jarrad Rich missed a header from 6 yards in the fifth minute.
Comeback king Trevor Bradbook had to leave the field for Farm in the 15th minute when the injury prone defender did a hamstring, he eventually was replaced by Lloyd Townsend.
Peter King and Vahid Rahmani were playing well in Farm's engine room combining well to set
up scoring opportunities for the visitors. However neither team looked like scoring during the first half as chances were constantly sprayed.
Half time Para Hills East 0, Ingle Farm 0.
After the break, East stole the lead 3 minutes in. The East player beat three Farm defenders then put in a shot that found the back of the net. 1-0 to East.
Three minutes later another East player turned his Farm defender and scored the home team's second. 2-0.
Farm keeper, Michael Francken made a fine save in the 60th minute to keep Farm in the match, the diving save was spectacular as he deflected the goal-bound strike.
Lloyd Townsend missed a one on one with the keeper soon after as Farm tried to work their way back into the match.
In the 75th minute, Farm pulled a goal back when Peter King set up Jarrod Rich to knock in Farm's first goal. 2-1.
However Farm's poor defending continued when a corner to the far post was put away by East in the 80th minute. 3-1.
Farm's Reserves have had an ordinary start to the season, this loss drops the team down to 7th place.
Reserves coach Brian Toomer later lamented that the result was " very disappointing." He went on to say that the team "played very poorly."
Toomer later said "More commitment from several players" is needed to turn Farm's season.
