Ingle Farm were drowned out by boring Modbury Vista at its home ground today. The loss is Farm's 3rd in its past 6 league matches.
Farm started well creating more chances during the first half, however had chances thwarted by Modbury Vista's outstanding keeper.
In the 38th minute, Vista earned a free kick 20 yards out from Farm's goal. The resultng kick found the top corner of the net and Farm were behind 1-0.
The second half looked no better for Farm as Vista pushed back behind the ball and easily held out the home team for the entire second half.
Farm had few winners on the day. Their midfield was beaten, its strikers struggled to gain the ascendancy and the defence leaked a soft goal.
Farm Head Coach, Paul Simpson later said "It was a very disappointing result, but we still continue to play good passing soccer."
Farm have now dropped from 1st to 3rd after two losses in a row in the league. Farm trail Para Hills East by 3 points, and Vista by two.
