Congratulations must go to young couple Adam and Rachel Blackwood who have had their second child this past week.

Adam and Rachel are delighted to announce the arrival of their first daughter, Ruby.

Weighing in at 6 pounds, 6 ounces, Ruby Isabelle Blackwood was born on the 28th of May at 1pm at North Eastern Hospital, and as you can see, she is adorable.

Father Adam is over the moon with his little girl, who is doing well at home with mum.

Adam has had to take time out from soccer to care for his family, hence his absence from the soccer club these past two weeks.

Rachel battled through the birth, and is still very sore as she recovers at home.

Little 3 year old Jackson is still running amok around the house, keeping Adam busy, so we don't expect to see Adam for another week or two while he cares for his young family.

Stawberry blonde-haired Adam jokes "She has dark hair.. like her mum!" Anyone who has spotted Jackson running around the club would quickly realize he is a spitting image of Dad .. they couldn't have cloned Jackson any better!!

So congratulations guys, and especially well done to Rachel !!
